MARLAYNE MORGAN is a labor and community activist with extensive experience in labor / management partnerships in healthcare, government, and utility industry coalitions. As a long-term resident of District 5, she has co-founded neighborhood and political coalitions focusing on good government and effective public planning, and is interested in bringing diverse voices together on homeless issues through RescueSF. Marlayne has served as the President of the Cathedral Hill Neighborhood Association, co-sponsor of District 5 Action, co-chair of the Van Ness Corridor Neighborhoods Council, moderator for the SF Neighborhood Network, Vice President of the Coalition for San Francisco Neighborhoods, and Transportation Chair of the Sutter Health Housing, Healthcare, Jobs, and Justice Coalition. Marlayne holds a B.A. from UC Riverside and an M.L.S. from San Jose State University.
